Rihoy & Son is one of Guernsey’s longest-established building contractors. We employ more than 200 staff and are involved with all types of projects, from small contracts to many of the island’s most prestigious developments.

Our office personnel and managers support a team of highly skilled and qualified tradesmen.

We are well experienced in all sizes of traditional and design and build contracts, from sympathetic renovations, new private homes and social housing, to hospitality, retail, commercial, and light industrial.

For smaller projects, our Bespoke Projects Division offers a focus on insurance damage rectification services, domestic extensions and alterations, and commercial fit outs and re-fits, where we are able to compete with the smaller contractors traditionally involved in these areas with the peace of mind that comes with a long standing larger building contractor.

We also have our own Joinery Workshop providing interior and exterior joinery services from stairs and doors to windows and gates, undertaking manufacture and installation for both residential and commercial projects.

Our high standards of quality and professionalism have helped us earn our Chartered Building Company status. We have maintained this accreditation for more than 20 years by providing new and repeat clients with excellent results and constantly furthering the training and education of our employees. This applies to those at managerial level and to staff specialising in a trade.
