Barras Lane

Guernsey property developers Bant Holdings contracted Rihoy & Son to build two new industrial properties at Barras Lane Industrial Estate. The objective was to deliver smaller, modern units which can be used by light industry.

The two new buildings, designed by Create Limited, were built to first-class specifications. The units, with floor space of approximately 2,000 and 3,000 sq ft, are fully insulated and have excellent loading facilities.

The spaces were designed so that mezzanine floors can easily be retrofitted for tenants who require them.

Barras Lane Industrial Estate has been in the Komedera family for over 30 years. This newest build on the estate reflects the diversification of industry in Guernsey and the family’s continued belief in the long-term economic health of industry on the island.

Rihoy & Son worked closely with the architect and engineer throughout and the project was completed in July 2014.
